From API to Product: A Real-World Showcase of Our Resume Match Endpoint

APIs are easy to explain and harder to truly understand. CV Match Score is a small, fully functional product we built to show what happens when our Resume–Job Match API is used in a real, user-facing scenario. No mockups, no sample data, just a working example.
We just launched a small thing that accidentally became useful.

The backstory is simple. I kept getting the same question from people building HR tools and workflows:
“Cool endpoint. But what does it actually look like when a real human uses it?”
Fair. JSON is charming, but it doesn’t exactly spark joy.
So we built a tiny, fully functional product that showcases our SharpAPI endpoint in the wild, under real conditions, with real inputs. No screenshots. No “imagine it works like this.” It just works.

What it does:
- You upload a CV.
- You paste a job description.
- You get a structured match score with explanations that make sense to humans, not just to machines having a meeting about keywords.
Why we built it (beyond our obvious addiction to shipping):
- Documentation tells you what an API returns.
- A working tool shows you what users feel.
- And that’s the difference between “nice endpoint” and “this can be a feature inside my product next week.”
